Mt.Tam Sunrise // Giclee Paper Print // 6x6"

I painted Mt. Tam Sunrise looking out from this vista on the side of Mount Tamalpais in Marin County. The sunrise was so spectacular that I just watched it happen, then when the colors faded, but the rolling inversion clouds remained, I painted the clouds I saw in the colors I just witnessed. Magenta light bounces off rich blue clouds as a golden white sun rises over magenta mountains.
