Balsamroot // Necklace

Handmade by one of the oldest, most well-established silversmith smithies in Sweden, this lifelike yet stylized balsamroot pendant necklace that comes on a gorgeous silver chain, will have you dreaming of sunny springtime hills, dotted with yellow Arrowleaf Balsamroot flowers, that climb higher into the mountains as the summer passes.  

This is the most practical of our necklaces because of its compact shape. It is, therefore, our best offering if you are super active and plan on wearing your necklace for many days on end and sleeping in it (I sleep in all of our necklaces, personally), as it is a simpler shape! 

Sizing: The flower pendant is 2cm in diameter and 3mm thick. The chain is 45cm long. 

Silver Jewelry Care:

Our jewelry is made from 1925 nickel-free sterling silver. It is so beautiful that you will want to wear it all the time, so here’s what you need to know to make it last as long as possible.

Sterling silver oxidizes (grows darker) over time due to exposure to different environments, which is completely normal and to be expected!

If your jewelry becomes dark over time and you wish to revive the bright, shiny look, simply polish it with silver polish, which typically takes minutes. You can use a silver polish cloth (remember to be gentle, especially with delicate earring pegs!) or soak it in liquid silver polish and rinse off well afterward before wearing it.

If you would like your silver jewelry to oxidize at a slower pace, i.e., stay shiny and bright silver for longer, we recommend you follow these simple steps!

• Keep your box and store your jewelry there when not in use.
• Clean your jewelry often to eliminate grease, sweat, makeup, sunscreen, etc.
• Don’t wear your jewelry surfing, swimming (in salt water or chlorine!), etc.
• Don't sleep in your jewelry (though you can; I do it all the time)
